Discovery Labs Program

Hands-on STEM experiences delivered through fun, engaging science kits — with materials, instructions, and volunteer-led classes included.

What Are Discovery Labs?

The Discovery Labs program brings hands-on STEM experiences directly to students through fun and engaging science kits. Each kit includes all the materials needed for a simple experiment or engineering project, step-by-step instructions, and access to an online class where volunteers explain the science behind the activity.

Kits include projects such as fake snow, bouncy balls, lava lamps, rubber band helicopters, balloon cars, paper towers, popsicle stick catapults, and more. Kits are designed to be inexpensive, safe, and engaging, so students can learn STEM concepts while having fun.

Program Structure
